Church approves full ownership of Web software

Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders took action October 15 in offering guidelines for instances when the church's beliefs are at odds with social legislation, particularly with hiring practices at church institutions.

Daniel R. Jackson, president of the Adventist Church in Canada, said the document would give churches around the world the ability to act with the authority of the world church body when social legislation conflicts with church policy.

Gary Krause, director of the Office of Adventist Mission said Adventist Church began as a church planting movement. “Its strength for the future depends largely on how we continue that vision,” he said.
